Deeper and Deeper
When Liza Miller, 40-something mother, divorces and is left with nothing but her husbands debt, she decides to restart her career. Liza quickly learns that her age and time spent raising her daughter make her an undesirable in the workforce. With some inspiration from her Brooklyn-based bestie, Liza takes matters into her own hands by pretending to be 26. She lands a job at one of New York's top publishing firms, Empirical Press. Liza tries to fit in with a new job and a new generation, picking up slang, social media, and friendships with other 20-somethings. As she establishes herself in her new world, Liza is constantly forced to maneuver her way through situations that risk exposing her true identity and ruining the new life she's built for herself.
