One girl will change worlds.
Based on The Amber Spyglass, the final novel in Philip Pullman's award-winning fantasy trilogy, His Dark Materials returns for an epic conclusion. After the shocking events of S2, the third season finds Lyra (Dafne Keen) and Will (Amir Wilson) separated but determined to travel through multiple worlds to find and protect one another. Once reunited, the prophesied child and the bearer of the Subtle Knife must journey to The Land of the Dead, a dark place from which no one has ever returned, while remaining committed to Will's promise to his father. Meanwhile, determined to wage a Great War against the Authority, Lord Asriel (James McAvoy) assembles an indomitable army of leaders from across all worlds, as MacPhail (Will Keen), now Father President of the Magisterium, seeks to stop the prophecy, and Mrs. Coulter (Ruth Wilson) lays it all on the line to protect her daughter.
